The situation

The situation

We were approached by the founder of a 7-year-old aerospace company. Experiencing burnout and believing the business was stagnating after years of treading water, he was seeking to exit for a modest €25 million.

However, our initial review revealed a company with a superb product, an exceptional quality of service, and unbridled potential. We saw a hidden gem, perfectly positioned for an imminent upswing in the global space sector, and believed the founder was significantly undervaluing his creation.

The result

Within 18 months, our hands-on operational work led to a formal investment offer at a valuation of €130 million—a more than 5x increase from the founder's original asking price.
Seeing his company completely reinvigorated and its true potential unlocked, the founder chose not to sell.

He continues to lead the thriving business to great success today.
